Residential Treatment Center for Teen seeking a whole foods cook and gardener. We are a treatment center for teens suffering form addiction, depression, anxiety and family struggles. Position details:
Part-time
Duties include, cooking healthy meals for kids and staff
Helping with indoor and outdoor gardening (herbs, vegetables, plants)
Overseeing kids working in the kitchen.
Willingness to keep a tidy, professional kitchen, while being able and willing to relate to teens.
Follows recipes for entrees, soups, sauces, stocks, vegetables, batters, dough, snacks, and salads.
Add your own creativity and recipes.
Follows Head Chef's suggestions with regard to seasonings, cooking techniques to maximize repurposing, as well as, recipe and menu revisions
Organic Gardening
Ideal candidate will have organic gardening knowledge and experience to manage the Fire Mountain organic garden.
Overnight accommodations available if needed between shifts. Meals are free.
Must pass a background check.
